Health & Safety
Dale Scaffolding Company Ltd
One of the most important aspects of any kind of scaffolding erection is health and safety. We work closely with our operatives to make sure they are aware of new industry standards, which enables them to work safely and confidently on site.We provide risk assessments, safety policies, and method statements.
In recent years we have seen a huge change in the construction industry, none more so than in the scaffolding sector where there has been an increasing demand for companies to meet the highest health and safety criteria to protect from accident and harm of their own employees, the workforces of other organizations who need to work on scaffolding and to the general public you can be assured that we are fully insured for public liability, product liability and employer’s liability. We strive to continually adopt and adapt working practices to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the latest legislation. At the same time, we encourage our workforce to obtain the highest levels of skills through ongoing training schemes.
Our team carry out a full survey before starting planning or erection to find workarounds for any potential problems like power lines and level, firm foundations. We take into account essential concerns such as ladders, load weights and supports throughout the design and ensure that our erection teams are fully conversant with the latest health and safety legislation so that good practice and compliance can be attended to throughout the build. We acknowledge the requirements of the Construction Industry Regulations and understand the legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related health and safety legislation TG20:13 and SG4:10.
